Fifth-grade Hoffman-Boston teacher Belinda Folb and her class had the exciting opportunity to tour the White House and explore the newly upgraded East Wing tour.
The revamped public tour, unveiled by First Lady Jill Biden, engages visitors through immersive experiences highlighting the White House’s history and significant events. New features of the tour include access to the Diplomatic Reception Room, where President Roosevelt recorded his famous “fireside chats,” as well as other previously restricted ground-floor spaces like the Library, China Room and Vermeil Room. Visitors can now enjoy expanded access to the State Floor, including the East Room, State Dining Room, and the iconic Red, Blue and Green Rooms.
For more information, see the Associated Press article about the students’ visit and watch a brief video shared by the White House here.
