Randolph Podcasters Win National Award

What do the Montauk lighthouse, a school mural, a trampoline accident, a forced migration, and the Quartering Act of 1765 have in common?

These are the subjects of winning podcasts submitted by fourth graders to NPR’s Student Podcast Challenge.

Congratulations to Ella, Linzeth and William at Randolph for winning one of just five prizes nationally in the NPR student podcast contest. This is the first fourth grade team to win the award nationally, for their podcast called Diary of a Fourth Grade Mural.  Listen and learn more on the NPR website.

Congratulations to the teachers who helped inspire and guide our young podcasters! Thank you to teachers Carol Schaedel, Monisha Slater and Cathy Wague.
