W-L Student Wins National Civic Engagement Award
Aaron Rafael Zevin-Lopez, a student at Washington-Liberty High School and youth civic engagement activist, has been named a 2024 Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award recipient.
Zevin-Lopez is one of 15 national recipients recognized for their work in repairing the world and leading impactful change. His leadership of the Virginia Chapter of Voters of Tomorrow played a key role in his recognition. The award includes a $36,000 college scholarship.
The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award celebrates young leaders who inspire civic and political engagement in their communities.
