School Board Work Sessions and Other Meetings

SY 2025-26 School Board Work Session Schedule

For the 2025-26 school year, the School Board will hold work sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. once per quarter. The School Board regularly holds work sessions covering different topics for staff to brief the Board on those specific topics and engage in in-depth dialogue. Work sessions are open to the public, but no public comments are accepted. The School Board will hold evening work sessions when advisory committees are invited or if there is a need to add a meeting to the calendar.

All work sessions occur on the second floor in the Board Room of the Syphax Education Center, 2110 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA. In addition, all work sessions are live-streamed and can be viewed any time after the meeting by visiting the School Board Work Sessions webpage. Agendas, background information and minutes are posted, when available, on BoardDocs.
