W-L Students Outpace Peers on IB Exams

International Baccalaureate (IB) released scores in July and IB diploma candidates at Washington-Liberty High School (W-L) have come out on top of worldwide results. W-L IB student surpassed their worldwide peers in diploma pass rates and met their world peers in average score pass rates, and the average points earned by diploma candidates.

In addition, the overall pass rate for all W-L students participating in IB classes, including Diploma Candidates and Course Candidates, is 80%. IB exams are scored on a scale of 1-7 (with 7 being the highest score and a 4 considered passing). This year, 483 W-L students took IB exams, the highest level of student participation in the history of W-L.
