Good evening. NOVA Power Soccer invites power wheelchair users (ages 5 and up) to participate in their winter season on Saturdays from 10am to Noon beginning February 4th.
Power Soccer is designed and developed specifically for power wheelchair users. Athletes’ disabilities include quadriplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and many others. Power Soccer is hosted in the gymnasium at Irving Middle School. Two teams of four players attack, defend, and spin-kick a 13-inch soccer ball in a skilled and challenging game. This is a recreational program with a focus on developing skills, team building, and fun. Opportunities to participate competitively are available as well.
For those ages 5 and up who are able to drive their own power wheelchair.
For more information, please contact: Debbie LoCastro 703-244-0245 novapowersoccer@gmail.com

This week, the Parent Resource Center will partner with Child Find to offer a session on the transition from PreK to Kindergarten for parents of rising kindergarten students who are receiving PreK special education services. Please see our Events section for a number of upcoming events including SEPTA’s Summer Activities Fair on February 4th, and its February meeting on February 9th.

Have a wonderful week!
