Amazon Presents APS Students with Future Engineer Scholarship

Five APS seniors are named Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Winners.​

  • Julissa Hernandez, Arlington Tech at the Arlington Career Center​
  • Samuel Surafeil, Wakefield
  • Esam Abdelaziz, Wakefield
  • Dagmawi Atsedeweyn, Wakefield
  • Qiaojing Huang, Washington-Liberty

The students will receive a scholarship of up to $40,000 toward an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon​.

Congratulations to these students for their hard work and thank you to Amazon for your partnership in providing support and educational experiences for our schools and students. We are so proud of our students!
