Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Meals will be provided to all students 18 and under

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination during the meal service.

Meals will be provided free to students ages 18 and under on a first-come, first-served basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.). Breakfast will be served from 8:45-9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 10:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Important information about the summer meals program for this year:

All meals must be consumed at the school site. Food cannot be taken off site. Meals cannot be picked up by a parent or guardian to bring home.

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online or from any USDA office, by calling 866-632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
