Dear APS Families,
We are in the process of developing our 2024-30 Strategic Plan and want to ensure the plan reflects all voices in our diverse community. The plan will be used to focus and guide the work of the school division through 2030. This work is incredibly important in defining the highest priority needs of our community and creating the roadmap to best support our students, staff and community.
I invite all members of our community to engage in the process in the following ways: Complete the community questionnaire by Oct. 6, 2023. The questionnaire takes about 7 minutes to complete.
- APS Staff & APS Parents/Guardians received an individual one-time use link to the questionnaire via email.
- Encourage your student(s) to complete it: https://survey.k12insight.com/r/K4MSnt
- Community Members: https://survey.k12insight.com/r/MPp02v
Participate in an upcoming Community Forum either tonight, Sept. 27, at Wakefield from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (in Spanish), or Tue, Oct. 3 at Yorktown High School, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Pizza and water will be provided. Children are welcome to attend with their parents.

Yesterday, we held our first full-day work session on three important topics: our instructional vision and pathways, boundaries, and school culture and climate. You can view the presentations by visiting BoardDocs. Watch the livestream of the sessions.
Sincerely,
Dr. Francisco Durán
