Google Apps: Delete a Google File

Note: anything you delete will remain in your google drive trash folder for 30 days. After 30 days, anything in the trash will be automatically and permanently deleted.

Tap on the file or files you want to delete
Tap on the blue trash can
Confirm by tapping Remove
You can empty the trash manually by tapping on the hamburger (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.
Tap on the trash can on the left
Tap on the timbits (three dots) in the top right cornerTap Empty Trash
Confirm by tapping Delete forever
