APS is Partnering with Hazel Health for the 2023–24 School Year

Dear Families,

Students learn best when they feel best and can attend class daily. That’s why APS is excited to partner with Hazel Health. It is now available to support students’ mental well-being in grades 9-12 without any out-of-pocket costs for families.

Your student can speak with a therapist from the convenience of home. Hazel Health provides the same high-quality care for students who are insured and uninsured, as well as for students of all immigration statuses. Students whose families opted them out will not be able to access Hazel Health services.

Hazel Health’s therapists can specialize in helping students with:

  • Mood/behavior changes, motivation, grief/loss
  • Separation anxiety, worry, fear
  • Social skills, bullying, peer & family relationships
  • Academic stress
