Welcome to the Arlington Public Schools Special Education Parent Resource Center (PRC). The PRC's purpose is to provide parents the support and information they need as they work with the school system to identify and meet their child's unique learning needs. The PRC offers support and assistance, a lending library, a parent newsletter, parent training workshops, and serves as an information and referral source for families and staff members.
VDOE 2015-16 Parent Survey
All parents of school-aged children and youth who receive special
education services in Virginia’s schools are encouraged to complete the
Virginia Department of Education’s annual Parent Involvement Survey.
This survey is not intended to measure satisfaction
with the special education program. It is designed to determine whether
or not schools facilitated parent involvement.

VDOE is also providing a postcard version of this annual
survey. The postcard is a shorter version of the online survey for families to complete and return to VDOE. Postcards will be distributed by schools, will be available in the office of each APS school, and will be available at the Parent Resource Center (PRC).
